Summer People: With this series I keep returning to this thought of a "beach towel" - warm, nostalgic, familiar, safe. You know that feeling when you pull a beach towel, worn quilt, or even favorite book pages close to your face and take a deep inhale? That familiar scent of years past? My hope is that these paintings evoke a similar feeling, that my gestural marks somehow encapsulate how we live in the summer.

Medium: Acrylic, gouache and wax pastel on birchwood panel.

Details: This piece is 36x48” and is 1.5” deep, the sides are painted beige. Artist signature will be visible on the front. Each piece has been sprayed with UV protective varnish. It will be wired and ready to hang. Included in your package will be a unique letter pressed Certificate of Authenticity!
